Fair Play Policy

1. Respect & Sportsmanship

SportPulse is a community. We expect all players to treat opponents, teammates, and venue staff with dignity and respect. Harassment, hate speech, or aggressive behavior will trigger immediate account suspension.

2. Reliability (No-Shows)

When you join a game, you are committing to play. Missing players ruin the game for everyone.

• Commitment: Only join if you are 100% sure you can attend.
• Cancellation: You must cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot make it.
• Penalties: Repeated no-shows or late cancellations will result in a temporary ban from joining games and tournaments.

3. Anti-Cheating & Integrity

We value fair competition. Our ranking system (TrueSkill) relies on honest score reporting.

• Do not manipulate scores: Intentionally losing (tanking) or reporting false scores is strictly prohibited.
• No Smurfing: Creating multiple accounts to play below your actual skill level ruins the experience for beginners and is not allowed.

4. Venue Respect

Venues are our partners. Treat all courts and equipment with care.

• Follow specific venue rules (e.g., non-marking shoes).
• Clean up your trash and belongings after playing.
• Respect venue staff instructions at all times.

5. Reporting Violations

If you witness unfair play, harassment, or a violation of this policy, please report it.
